The fact that it can learn anything, reminds me a bit of how single-layer neural networks can approximate any function with enough neurons, but deep learning is much more effective. Maybe we need a more effective UAI? Or why are these ideas not catching up?

Project Malmo, which lets researchers use Minecraft for AI research, makes public debut
It is based on performing Levin search over candidate answers, to preferentially search simple ones. However, we should combine this with probabilistic heuristics that are learned from past experience (an example of Incremental learning).
